We founded California Bounty because we saw an opportunity to produce important ingredients, right here in the USA. Our mission is to combine the best of both worlds from nature and from modern science. The result is an enzyme-based method for producing high quality, affordable ingredients for the nutraceutical industry, starting with Quercetin.

Our process uses highly sustainable precursor feedstocks and converts them to high-value ingredients using only naturally occurring enzymes. Compared to extraction or chemical synthesis methods, enzyme-based processes have multiple inherent advantages; for example, does not require any harsh solvents or ecological destruction. We have honed this process—we even built our own custom equipment for it—and the end result is an inherently higher quality, more affordable, local source for nutraceutical ingredients.
